So, I'm calling out to the bloggy moms for some advice. Gabe has woken up (from a dead sleep, in his naps) a few times by SCREAMING and then breaking into a total sob. Usually, as soon as I run in and pick him up he'll settle back down and fall asleep. Tonight, though, he was inconsolable. For close to fifteen minutes he was sobbing so hard that he was gasping for breath and going hoarse. It wasn't a normal "I'm hungry" or "I'm tired" cry- it was completely different (scared? hurt?) I'm not even sure he was fully awake, though. Any ideas?

You know, this has never happened to us. Maybe he kind of wakes up and realizes you aren't right there and gets scared. Hopefully it's just a phase and this will be over in a couple weeks. Good luck!
